From reading the customer reviews on Amazon, it seems what you think of this toy depends on what you were expecting. It is not a serious drone. It is a toy. It carries the Star Trek name. If you’re looking at it as a collectible or a novelty, you’ll be thrilled. If you’re looking for a serious drone, you might be disappointed.

Although many reviewers reported flying it with no damage even after crashing it several times, a few people said it broke after crashing only once. They recommend that you be somewhat familiar with remote control flying toys before trying this one.

The design on the vehicle is well thought out and there are ten different lights and sounds including a phaser, warp speed sound, and red alert. It is a quadcopter and operates as such but some parts are hidden to facilitate the Star Trek Enterprise design.
